This pony is every young rider’s dream. George was bought for a 12yo girl six years ago as a dressage pony. He has given her the experience and confidence that has taken them both to numerous club and state championship titles, rarely placing outside the top three, the most recent success being Alexander Park Dressage Club Elementary Pony Champion 2011. Although bought as a dressage pony, he had previously been successful in three-day eventing. This pony is recognized everywhere he goes with his stunning golden coat, four white socks, beautiful white blaze and breathtaking tail. George is a dream to catch, float, shoe and is an absolute pleasure to have around thanks to his unique personality and mannerisms. An awesome mover with a powerful, elevated and explosive trot, he not only has a front leg with that rare knee action, but also an extreme
active and powerful hind leg when he opens right up. You can clearly see this in his photo. He has a correct walk with a great overtrack and a lovely canter. George has well-established walk pirouettes, shoulder in, travers, renvers, simple changes and is well under way working towards higher movements. This pony is really genuine with plenty of miles left to bring on another young rider who might potentially be a serious rider for Australia. Just like every other working pony, he cannot be left out in a green pasture for too long. This long and special partnership between horse and rider sadly is being broken apart due to education and work commitments.
